How to Update Google Nexus S to Android 3.0 Honeycomb from 2.3

First you will have to download the Honeycomb Nexus S port from here along with the Root Nexus S with Super boot.
Procedure to install Honeycomb 3.0 on your Nexus S:
  • First of all you will have to install the ROM Manager on your Nexus S from the Android Market place and then you will have to open the ROM Manager and need to install the clockwork mod recovery from here.
  • Now, next up you will have to connect your Nexus S with the computer and then you will have to copy the downloaded zip file in the internal SD card memory.
  • After this it’s time to connect restart or reboot your Nexus S in the recovery mode with the help of ROM Manager and in the recovery mode you will have to restart your device in Recovery Mode, from ROM Manager you need to select backup / restore and create a complete backup. Please note that you will have to wipe everything during the installation.
  • Now, in the Recovery Menu it’s recommended to do a complete full wipe of your device which includes the Delvik Cache and after this simply return to Recovery Main menu and select Flash ROM from SD Card and mention to the location where you have placed the zip file and then all you need to do is to just follow the onscreen instructions for installing the honeycomb ROM for the Nexus S.
After installing, you will have to reboot the Nexus S and there you go, you have now successfully installed the latest honeycomb on your Nexus S and for all those who didn’t able to still install then simply follow the above instructions above to install the same and also ensure that your warranty gets void once you follow the above procedure.
